Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson was left out of the starting lineup for the second straight day Tuesday as he nurses a sore hip. “He’s still banged up,” manager John Gibbons said, adding that Donaldson “jarred” his right hip Sunday when he stepped on first base after reaching on an error. “We’ll take it day by day,” Gibbons said. “Hopefully he’s okay to go (Wednesday).”Donaldson, the reigning American League MVP, is mired in the worst slump of his career and is hitless in his last seven games.
