Hair today, gone tomorrow: Given time, fashion always spins back around, and Mr. Obama could give that wheel a push. Maybe it’s time to start imagining Mr. Trump, come January 2017, in possession of the nuclear launch codes. One irony is that even as Mr. Obama denied any liability for Mr. Trump, he lapsed into the same rhetorical habit that helped fuel the businessman’s ascent. For Mr. Obama, principled opposition to his policies is always illegitimate or motivated by bad faith.
