They discussed the launch of a commemorative stamp by An Post in honour of Monsignor Hugh O’Flaherty, who appears in Joe's novels My Father's House and The Ghosts of Rome. On Thursday, 23 October, Joseph wrote an article for the Irish Times on the role of letters and letter writing in O’Flaherty's life and activism.
