Roma boss Jose Mourinho was shown a red card during his side's 5-2 defeat to Real Betis in a pre-season friendly on Saturday. From that moment on Roma's discipline disintegrated as they eventually finished the match with just eight men on the pitch. The referee allowed the goal to stand which lead the Italian side to surround him and Mourinho followed suit to join in with the protestations. The manager and Pellegrini were both dismissed and Roma went onto further self implode. Remarkably the incident was the third such on field skirmish in which Roma have been involved in their last two matches.
