Liverpool were given a guard of honour by City at the Etihad, but were convincingly brushed aside by a Pep Guardiola side looking to make a point. City are still 20 points behind Liverpool, but Reds skipper Henderson revealed how he and his team-mates reacted to the woeful result against their closest rivals. The Liverpool squad spent the last week celebrating their first league title in 30 years, but Klopp dismissed the idea his side’s focus slipped. ‘I’ve seen their games – they haven’t played a bad game all season.
