GILGIT: Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Assembly on Tuesday unanimously adopted a resolution demanding provisional provincial status and representation in parliament for the semi-autonomous region. The resolution was passed by the House unanimously.”The GB Assembly secretariat also forwarded a copy of the resolution to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat. In November, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced the government will give provisional provincial status to the region.
