The Johor Mentri Besar said MACC's action to detain them must have been based on some form of evidence. "Let MACC investigate, we will wait and see for investigations to conclude. It was reported that the son of a state executive councillor and a special officer to the councillor have been arrested by anti-graft officers over the scandal. Besides the son and special officer, it is learnt that two developers, a lawyer and another person were also arrested. A total of 45 bank accounts, which contained RM15.5mil belonging to the six suspects, has been frozen.
