Joho to reduce roundabout as he prepares for BRTSome roundabouts in Mombasa town will be done away with as the county works on its plans to introduce the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system. Transport Executive Tawfiq Balala says he wrote to the Kenya Power seeking to have all power poles in the middle of the roads in the Central Business District (CDB) removed. Mr Balala says this would be done to pave way for the development of a dedicated lane for the BRT system.
