Photo: JONNY TURNERPremiership winning jockey Chris Johnson produced what can only be described as vintage Magic Johnson rides to score a quartet of wins at Oamaru yesterday. The trainers had Mia Mumma and Bringiton fit and ready to win for Johnson despite a lack of recent racing. Earlier in the Oamaru programme, Johnson guided Secret Power to win yesterday’s feature race, the South Otago Cup. His four wins elevated Johnson to second on this season’s national jockeys premiership with 10 wins, one behind the leader Lisa Allpress.
