Johnson & Johnson will pay more than $100million to settle over 1,000 lawsuits that allege the company's talc-based baby powder caused cancer. The company's baby powder currently makes up about 0.5 precent of the company's US consumer health business. Mark Lanier, won a $4.7billion verdict against Johnson & Johnson in 2018 that was later cut to $2.1billion on appeal.
