As reported by the Mail , Terry has applied for planning permission to renovate his house to build a single-storey extension. The plans would see the conservatory at Terry's home demolished, and replaced by a gym and lounge area. However the ex-England international has opposition to his proposals from members of Ockham Parish Council, who have sent an objection letter. Terry's planning agent has stated the works will not be a "disproportionate addition" to the home, and cites security as the major reasoning behind the make over. A decision on whether Terry's plans can go ahead is now set to be determined in the near future.
