John Oliver has found one of his easiest targets yet. The host of This Week Tonight blasted Ryan Lochte, an Olympic swimmer and “the purest form of the chemical element ‘Bro,'” for his “sh—y” behaviour at the Rio Games, where he fabricated a story about a robbery. Lochte, Oliver notes, used to be “America’s sweet, dumb merman,” but he’s ruined that with behaviour that is no longer harmless. So, Oliver says, we must “say farewell to one of America’s favourite idiots.”Watch the clip here:
