McGlynn’s Falkirk move 12 points clear of seventh-placed Dundee United, who have five games remaining before the split. The experienced boss has won both the Championship and League One titles in the past two seasons, but asked if securing a top-six finish in the Premiership would mark his greatest achievement with the Bairns, McGlynn said: “I think getting the top six ranks as the best. “It would be absolutely huge, probably the biggest achievement of anything that we’ve done previously. “We filled out our section and I’m so sorry to them that we have put on that type of performance. “Sometimes you’ve just got to accept that the other team were better on the day – and Falkirk were.”
