Cornwell knows this well since he has published over 25 novels over the past sixty years or so. Not only is this excellent advice for novelists; it’s good advice for anyone in management. Don’t spend time talking about your ideas about this and that or how you picked the members of your team. By asking questions beginning with why you will uncover the thinking that led to the problem. You will be drilling to the heart of the matter, not getting bogged down in the ephemera.
