Former refugee Faisal Farghaly talked about his experience settling in the Mangere refugee centre back in 2014. The Mangere Refugee Resettlement Centre has been reopened as part of $15.9 million project. The revamped refugee centre was officially opened on Saturday morning with a powhiri, followed by speeches by deputy CEO of Immigration New Zealand Nigel Bickie and Prime Minister John Key.
