John Fetterman officially threw his hat in the ring for the 2022 U.S. Senate race in Pennsylvania on Monday, handing Democrats a candidate with growing national name recognition for a race viewed as a potential pickup. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) in 2016. “We’ve lost 90% of our population and 90% of our buildings,” Fetterman told the Times then.
