Former House of Commons speaker John Bercow admitted he has 'made a lot of enemies' as he revealed he was 'sorry' that he has not been granted a peerage. Mr Bercow also faced accusations of bias over Brexit during his time as Speaker after a series of controversial rulings which were widely considered to favour Remain supporters. Speaking on BBC Radio 4's Any Questions programme on Saturday, Mr Bercow said: 'I did my best - I had some successes, I had some failures. Mr Bercow, pictured above with his wife Sally, also faced accusations of bias over Brexit during his time as Speaker'I'm sure I didn't please everybody, I know I didn't. One former Commons employee claimed he saw Mr Bercow in tears after Federer was knocked out of a tournament.
