The charges stem from an incident in Holloway, north London, on September 1. The actor was unconditionally bailed to appear for trial at the same court in north London on November 29. Actor Alford became a famous face played happy go lucky Robbie Wright between 1985 and 1991 on Grange Hill but would later fall on hard times. After leaving the show, he went on to be a regular on ITV series London's Burning playing Billy Ray.
