John Abraham will be the chief guest at a beauty pageant with a difference. It is jointly organised by the National Association for the Blind (NAB) and an NGO named Blind’s Dream founded by Samir Mansuri, who himself is visually impaired by birth. On inviting John as the celebrity guest, Samir says, “John Abraham is known for his philanthropy. He has given us an hour’s time and has agreed to crown the winner.”Adds Samir, “He was bowled over with the idea of a beauty pageant for visually impaired. Also, this is a pageant for visually impaired girls, who are enterprising.
