New Zealand squash ace Joelle King lost her Macau Open title, but has continued to show plenty of positive signs on a fine start to the new PSA World Tour season. A year ago King had taken out the PSA 50 event, which represented the biggest win of her career. But to defend her crown was going to be a stiff challenge for the 28-year-old from Cambridge, in a tournament that isn't top-level and PSA World Series standard, but this time featured three players ranked ahead of her. She will now be eagerly anticipating the first of the season's World Series events - the US Open, in Philadelphia, from October 7-14.
