US President Joe Biden urged Americans on Monday to get vaccinated against the coronavirus, insisting that the economy is entirely dependent on getting the pandemic under control. States have tried to deal with vaccine hesitancy through million-dollar prizes, hunting rifles, marijuana, and free beer but states like Oklahoma, Tennessee, and North Carolina are showing signs of reducing vaccine demands. Tennessee and North Carolina both have vaccinated less than half of their population, reported Associated Press. The President had accused social media giants of peddling vaccine misinformation and “killing people” by allowing the posts to circulate. The President attempted to smooth things over on Monday, asking the social media giant to not take things personally and to do something about the vaccine misinformation available on its site.
