Wong Leung Sau-hing, 61, faces a bribery charge and will appear at the Sha Tin Magistracy on Friday for plea. On December 9, 2018, Wong attended an Owners Private Box at the Sha Tin Racecourse. The HKJC staff rejected the offer and reported the matter to the management of the HKJC, which referred a corruption complaint to the ICAC.
