A private box at the Hong Kong Jockey Club. A race horse owner who is also a full member of the Hong Kong Jockey Club was charged by the Independent Commission Against Corruption today with offering HK$10,000 to club staff at a betting booth at the Sha Tin Racecourse. Wong Leung Sau-hing, 61, faces a bribery charge and will appear at the Sha Tin Magistracy on Friday for plea. On December 9, 2018, Wong attended an Owners Private Box at the Sha Tin Racecourse. The HKJC staff rejected the offer and reported the matter to the management of the HKJC, which referred a corruption complaint to the ICAC.
