A jockey has died after falling from his horse and being trampled during a race in India. Apprentice jockey Jitendra Singh, 24, had been competing at Hyderabad Race Club on Sunday when he fell from his horse 10 seconds into the race. 'Sorry sorry news from Hyderabad as apprentice jockey Jitendra Singh has passed away following an incident in the 4th race at the track. 'Unfortunate accident in the 4th race today @ HRC has taken the life of an apprentice jockey Jitendra Singh,' said another. One person wrote: 'Tragic news coming in from Hyderabad, jockey Jitendra Singh who was on Gold Label who went down in the 4th race has passed away!
