A Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) officer has been found guilty of murder and three counts of attempted murder. Bongani Silence Baloyi was convicted in the Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg on Monday. The court heard that Baloyi murdered a man in what appeared to be a road rage incident. "Both the drivers exchanged words, the accused fired shots at [Nkwana]," said IPID spokesperson Ndileka Cola in a statement. According to the postmortem report, Nkwana died as a result of gunshot wounds in the head, chest, and abdomen.
