Job losses confirmed at Christchurch-based Citycare


Citycare Civil has merged with the company’s property division, with the loss of 33 staff. Thirty-three staff have lost their jobs at Christchurch-based maintenance company Citycare. Citycare Property chief executive Peter Lord said the review was to ensure operations “aligned with business priorities and direction”. Before the latest redundancies Citycare Property employed 806 staff throughout New Zealand and 445 staff in Christchurch.
