A software engineer from Andhra Pradesh, who had started working in Pune three days ago, jumped to his death in the early hours of Wednesday, according to the Vimatal police. A note, written and signed in English, that Gopikrishna left behind read, “In IT there is no job security. I’m worried a lot about my family.” The note was found in his hotel room, according to the police. Hailing from Andhra Pradesh, he had worked in Delhi, Hyderabad and had recently started working in Pune, according to the police. The 25-year-old engineering graduate from Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh was taken to Sassoon General Hospital for post-mortem and was then sent to Andhra Pradesh by afternoon.
