KARACHI: A 25-year-old man and a woman were murdered in the name of honour on Saturday on the orders of a jirga in Karachi. “The two were killed after proper planning,” officials said while adding that the woman’s parents were missing. A case, including clauses of murder and karo kari, has been filed on the state’s complaint. The first information report (FIR) states that the man was reported as missing in July while the woman was reported missing in August. “When they were reported missing, a jirga was called which ordered that the couple is killed,” police added.
