Politician Jimmy Wanjigi''s mum Mary Wambui now says he son has never been a criminal. She emphasized that since childhood, Wanjigi has never been a criminal, but has always been a loving person. A multi-agency security team broke into Wanjigi's Muthaiga home on Thursday to seek his arrest in vain. They then embarked on a search in the house while looking for Wanjigi and what they termed as "more evidence". The police alleged that they recovered tear gas canisters from his alleged car that was found parked at the entrance to his Muthaiga home in Nairobi.
