Cliftonville have confirmed the signing of former Celtic youngster Ben Wylie. The 21-year-old midfielder joins following a spell with Ytterhogdals in Sweden. A Northern Ireland Under-21 international, he began his career at Linfield before signing for Celtic in 2020, who provided him with NIFL Premiership experience during a loan stint at hometown side Ballymena United. More recently, he has been on loan at Airdrie before linking up with former Cliftonville Ladies coach Tommy Stewart at Ytterhogdals. Subject to international clearance, he will be eligible to make his Reds debut in Saturday’s Sports Direct Premiership clash with Newry City at the Showgrounds.
