Furyk, who has 17 PGA Tour victories, was already one of six golfers to shoot a 59 in his career. Furyk shot 31 on the back nine, finishing with a two-foot par on the final hole. Jim Furyk set a PGA Tour record Sunday, shooting a 58 during the final round of the Travelers Championship, which was won by Russell Knox, who saved par with a 12-foot putt on the final hole to beat hometown favorite Jerry Kelly by a stroke. He did that during the second round of the BMW Championship in 2013. Knox closed with a two-under 68 for a 14-under 266 total at TPC River Highlands.
