The Kano State Government has donated N100 million to assist victims of the recent petrol Tanker explosion in Majia, Taura local government area of Jigawa State. However, governor Abba Kabir Yusuf announced the donation during a condolence visit to Governor Umar Namadi at the Government House in Dutse. This was contained in a statement signed by the spokesperson to the Kano State Governor, Sanusi Bature,a copy made available to press on Friday in Kano. Governor Yusuf, also extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and those recovering from injuries, offering prayers for the Almighty to prevent future tragedies of this nature. Responding, the Jigawa Governor, Umar Namadi expressed gratitude on behalf of the people of Jigawa State, thanking Kano State for its generosity and support during such a difficult time.
