SEREMBAN: 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) president and chief executive officer Arul Kanda Kandasamy has reiterated that Low Taek Jho, or Jho Low, has nothing to do with the company. Arul Kanda said Jho Low had never worked with the company, and that the opposition often makes the allegation simply to incite hatred towards the government. Commenting further, Arul Kanda said Jho Low was known to have a good relationship with Arab leaders. (But) Jho Low has never been a 1MDB employee, and the company has never paid a single sen to him," he added. On March 7, police investigations found no evidence to link Jho Low with 1MDB’s decision-making processes, nor with any transactions conducted by the company.
