Six dacoits looted passengers and injured two of them on board the Ranchi-Jainagar Express near Chandrapura station of East Central Rail Zone, railway police said on Wednesday. Armed with pistol and sharp weapons, the dacoits stormed the S-2 coach after disconnecting the coupling after the train moved out from Chandrapura Railway Station under Dhanbad rail division last night, a complaint lodged with the GRP said. They escaped after looting five passengers. They lodged their complaint at Dhanbad GRP after the train reached here. A GRP official said investigations are on.
