A Jetstar customer who was accidentally charged $4,500 instead of $45 for a luggage check-in fee has been left outraged after it took the airline a month to refund her money. She said what followed was a 'comedy of errors' with several staff at the airport unsure how to process the refund for her. Several weeks later, and well past the 10 to 15 days she was quoted, Ms Meyers was still left with the massive sum missing from her account. Jetstar said Ms Meyers' refund took so long to process because it was waiting on additional information (pictured, Jetstar planes)Ms Meyers said she her correspondence with the airline was patronising and that she would avoid flying with them in the future. A Jetstar spokesperson said it took so long to process Ms Meyers' repayment because their financial team was waiting on extra information.
