Jessore Women and Child Repression Prevention Tribunal Judge TM Abu Musa passed the order after a lengthy hearing on Thursday. Case Investigation Officer (IO) Inspector Md Rakibuzzaman and plaintiff’s attorney Mostafa Humaiyun Kabir confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune. IO Rakibuzzaman said he had moved the court seeking the teenagers’ custody for eight days on August 20. On August 15, a police investigation found five juvenile correctional officers responsible for torturing the teenage boys to death. The next day, seven juvenile inmates were arrested for their suspected involvement in a case filed over the deaths.
