There was one cracker of a season on loan at West Ham, but they've been rare. He made 232 appearances for the Red Devils, however, the opportunities for Lingard dried up and in the 2020/21 January transfer window he joined West Ham on loan. I was probably one of the best players in the league at West Ham, at the time. The style of play he's always played has been a joy. So if he got the job I would be delighted for him, and I know some Celtic fans might worry.
