Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, comedy specials headed to Netflix

Jerry Seinfeld and Netflix have announced a deal that will bring the star's web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee to the streaming service later this year. Netflix says new episodes of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee will premiere in late 2017 and previous episodes will also be made available. The show, which debuted its ninth season earlier this month, has streamed on digital network Crackle since its debut in 2012. He's also had his former Seinfeld collaborators Michael Richards, Jason Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Larry David on. Seinfeld, who regularly tours the stand-up circuit, is also set to film two new comedy specials for Netflix, to be released later this year, and will "help develop scripted and non-scripted comedy programming," according to the streaming service.
