Jeremy Corbyn’s parliamentary private secretary has apologised after she ‘liked’ an online post which stated that ‘Jewish leaders are worse than the Nazis’. Kate Hollern, Labour’s parliamentary candidate for Blackburn, gave a thumbs-up to the offensive Facebook post by local Labour councillor Andy Kay. Just last month Miss Hollern came under fire for appearing to dismiss the anti-Semitism crisis engulfing the Labour Party. She retweeted a post from an account which claimed ‘Labour’s anti-Semitism crisis is about Israel’. The tweet, which she later deleted, said: ‘99.94 per cent of Labour members have never been accused of anti-Semitism.’
