Canada's Jennifer Abel looked impressive on the springboard Friday, taking home a bronze medal in the 3-metre event at the aquatics world championships from Budapest, Hungary. The bronze is her seventh career medal at the world championships, which puts her one behind Alexandre Despatie for the Canadian record, who has eight. She is also the most decorated female diver in Canadian history at the aquatics worlds. This is Abel's second medal of the world championships, as she won silver in the 3m synchro with teammate Melissa Citrini-Beaulieu. China filled the rest of the podium, with Shi Tingmao taking gold (383.50) and Wang Han (359.40) grabbing silver.
