Jeff Stelling launched a shocking attack on former employers Sky Sports for their coverage of "the biggest story of the day". The veteran broadcaster left Sky in the summer after 30 years - the majority of which was presenting the Soccer Saturday programme. But on Saturday afternoon, Stelling was furious with the way in which Sky covered the mass pitch invasion which resulted in Reading's clash with Port Vale being abandoned. Some eventually left the pitch but hundreds refused and after a suspension, a decision was made to abandon the match. When someone challenged him, Stelling replied: I am a member of the public with a right to express an opinion."
