Jeff Bezos, the world’s richest man and only centibillionaire, got $9 billion richer in two days. As Amazon stock shot up, in large part thanks to a better-than-expected earnings report on Thursday, Bezos’ net worth rose with it. At the close of trading Friday, his net worth sat at $130.2 billion, according to Forbes’ Real-Time rankings of the world’s billionaires—less than $2 billion below his highest net worth ever, $132.1 billion, which he hit on March 12 of this year. In his annual shareholder letter last week, Bezos announced that Prime had surpassed 100 million members globally. On Friday, Bezos announced Blue Origin’s next rocket test would likely come this weekend.
