Alliance Française de Daka hosted the theatrical performance by Jean-Paul Sermadiras titled "The Dream of a Ridiculous Man" on January 29 and 30, 2022 at Experimental Theatre Hall, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. "The Dream of a Ridiculous Man", subtitled "A Fantastic Story", is a short story written by Fyodor Dostoyevsky in 1877. This adaptation explores the fine lines between dream and reality with modernity and subtlety. Jean-Paul Sermadiras earned a master's degree in philosophy from the University of Paris. The one-hour performance was in French, with an English translation projected on the screen.
