Vladimir Guerrero Jr. left the Blue Jays’ series opener against the Astros in Houston on Friday night after he was hit on the left hand by a pitch in the first inning, but X-rays found no break. Guerrero, who played the rest of the inning before Eric Sogard took over at third base, was diagnosed with a bruise from starter Gerrit Cole’s 96-m.p.h.
