Blue Jays starter Marcus Stroman will have to wait another year to appear in his career first all-star game. Stroman, the Jays’ lone selection for the annual midsummer classic, is now a scratch from the American League roster. Manager Charlie Montoyo told the media prior to the Jays’ game against Baltimore on Saturday that he had phoned Boston manager Alex Cora, the AL bench boss, to inform him that Stroman won’t be available for Tuesday’s all-star game. Stroman will be replaced by Yankees right-hander Masahiro Tanaka. They will be replaced on the National League roster by Pittsburgh closer Felipe Vazquez and Milwaukee right-hander Brandon Woodruff.
