KUALA LUMPUR (March 2): Jaya Tiasa Holdings Bhd has appointed former Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun as an independent non-executive director. In a bourse filing today, Jaya Tiasa said Mohamad Fuzi, 60, will be joining the plantation firm’s board of directors effective immediately. Mohamad Fuzi, who had served the Royal Malaysia Police for 35 years before retiring in May 2019, also holds directorships in several private limited companies. Jaya Tiasa’s independent non-executive chairman is retired general Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Abdul Hamid. Other members on the board are Datuk Sri Dr Tiong Ik King, Tiong Choon, Tiong Chiong Hee, John Leong Chung Loong, Datuk Wong Lee Yun and Yong Voon Kar.
