Jay Leno gave some trusted old proverbs a new twist in a clip that “The Tonight Show” shared online Friday. The former late-night TV star, who returned to his old show Wednesday to take over monologue duties from current host Jimmy Fallon, revealed why there was actually no use in the early bird getting the worm and what a journey of a 1,000 miles really begins with. Leno then closed the backstage segment with a not-so-subtle jab at President Donald Trump. Check out the clip above.
