Belcher has sent up a FundRaise page - https://fundraise.pancreaticcancer.org.uk/fundraisers/jasonpbelcher - to raise awareness and funds of the charity Pancreatic Cancer UK. The first ride took place on November 16 - World Pancreatic Awareness Day #WPCD - when Belcher undertook Challenge 24, to represent the 24 people who pass from a Pancreatic Cancer everyday, this involved 24 laps of the Grand Pier, who also lit up Purple as part of #purplelights campaign, the colour of the charity. The second which was delayed due to a Met Office yellow weather forecast for rain and rescheduled last Saturday, November 25, with lifelong friend Jason Smith. However, it is nothing compared to the suffering families go through with family members who pass with the condition," Belcher said. “I’m grateful for the support of my family, friends and the Grand Pier for helping me raise awareness together with around £1,700 for the charity."
