Japanese medical experts and politicians have expressed fresh fears about the Olympics being held this summer - describing it as 'madness'. Coronavirus cases are rising again across Japan, including in Tokyo, where a state of emergency was only lifted last week. Dr Norio Sugaya, an infectious diseases expert at Keiyu Hospital in Yokohama, said: 'It is best to not hold the Olympics given the considerable risks. 'Tens of thousands of foreigners are going to be entering the country, including mass media, in a short period of time. To keep insisting the Games will go on is just madness.'
