A Pakistani man has been arrested by tourist police on charges of swindling Japanese tourists. His apprehension followed a complaint filed by a Japanese tourist on Nov 21, Pol Lt Gen Chettha Komolwattana, the tourist police commissioner, told reporters. At his request, the Japanese complainant tried the man's card in an ATM, and a message came up saying the service was unavailable because of an error. But when the complainant tried to contact him, he found the information was false.
