GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Jansen Harkins scored twice, including the eventual winner, as the Manitoba Moose defeated the Grand Rapids Griffins 4-1 on Friday in American Hockey League play. Mason Appleton and Logan Stanley had the other goals for Manitoba (38-29-7), the AHL affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets. Martin Frk replied for Grand Rapids (38-26-11), while goaltender Harri Sateri stopped 24 shots in net. The Moose went 1 for 4 on the power play and the Griffins were 0 for 6 with the man advantage. Manitoba currently sit in fifth place in the Division, but have a game in hand (and the tie-breaker) over the third-place Iowa Wild, who sit two points ahead of Manitoba at 85 points.
